At Lassiter's complex, Paul gets nervous when Sheila mentions their romantic history, and he quickly leaves. Meanwhile, Naomi visits Susan to request a reference from Terese. Susan mentions that Brad has "feelings" and Naomi becomes concerned. Later, Tyler, Mark, and Nate visit Karl for his birthday party. Susan is unhappy when they start playing ball games inside the house.
