After his honest talk with Amber, Daniel is left unsure where he stands in his relationship. He confides in an unlikely person – Terese. Drawing parallels from her own relationship, Terese admits she too has felt like an outsider with Brad and his other children. Sticking to his guns, Daniel sides with the parents and insists going to the US for surgery is a bad idea – devastating Amber.
