Brennan’s still on the hunt for Dakota, and reminds Paul that he’s obliged to notify the police if he should hear from her. A heartbroken Paul, however, insists that Dakota’s long gone. Filled with regret for tossing his wedding ring, a maudlin Paul heads to lake, only to be confronted by Dakota. She’s back! Dakota confesses all, and Paul accuses her of playing him for a fool.
