Finding love-sick Joshua about to injure himself in frustrated exercise, father-coach Brad encourages his boy to try winning Amber back. Alas, trying to break up her diner 'date' with Clay Blair only pushes her to accept a real one at night. When Clay wants at least a kiss, she leaves his car, afraid, and is surprised to be picked up by Robbo, who observed her secretly for days. Lucas is not amused that Vanessa wants to wriggle out of the apartment contract for the broody Turners' sake.
