Vera tells Mrs MG they won't be able to accept the jobs. Mrs MG's house is burgled and the police question the Duckworth's. They think it's about the expenses and confess. DS Richardson finds the story of the Duckworth's job very amusing. Alf worries as the Gazette investigate the eviction threat, so when Alf apologies, Ken accepts. Alf glues a 'vote Roberts' poster onto the outside of Ken's window, covering the 'vote Barlow' poster. Alf and Ken row in the Rovers, and start pushing each other. The Gazette photographer is present and takes a photograph to Alf's horror. Curly worries that the photographer will Raquel to pose nude.
