Raquel threatens to resign, but Reg agrees to Raquel's modelling to keep her at Bettabuy, on the condition that 'Bettabury' is mentioned. Angie panics about the fashion show and throws Ben out when he doesn't seem to care. Phil tells Andy he'll wait until Liz returns for an answer. Alf's posters arrive with the slogan 'Alf Roberts - the people's friend'. The reporter Jeff Longton is a friend of Phil's. He tells Phil he's discovered Alf has another woman.Phil wants to spread the news about Alf's other woman, but Deirdre refuses. Deirdre is interviewed by the Gazette and Joss forges the references but worries about Jack's etiquette.
