Mavis doesn't want to give up the Kabin but Derek tell her he'll need her soothing touch at home. Mavis confides in Rita that she'll be leaving the Kabin because Derek wants her at home and Rita, obviously surprised, accused Derek of ruining Mavis' life. Alf grows tired of Curly stuck in the flat owing him money, so when Martin tricks Curly into letting him in the flat, he turns on Curly telling him that he is pathetic. Betty fears that Bet is playing with fire going out with Paul, but Bet assures her he's just a mate.
