Trama
Everyone advises Ken not to talk well of the Marshes. Tricia is tired of being unemployed. The Bishops worry about their reputation. They search for the postal order. Ken tells Douglas Marsh he can't speak up for the lads. Marsh begs him; the lads need a friend, so Ken agrees. Blanche puts Albert off the idea of a lodger. Ernie is asked to resign from his role as scout secretary. Tricia refuses to serve Ken at the shop. Ernie finds the postal order in an exercise book. The Marshes get three months in a detention centre. In court, Ken blames the parents for showing a "couldn't care less" attitude.
